Min woke up, blinking in the bright sun. She felt sand underneath her back and could hear the gentle wash of waves. The beach? How had she gotten to the beach? Her mind went into panic mode as she tried to piece events together.
What came back first were the feelings. The memory of feeling invincible after she and Becca had downed the Extreme soda, followed by the feeling of utter vulnerability she felt after facing the Dean. This was too much for Min to take in. Where was he? She looked around and all she could see was an empty beach ringed with palm trees. Palm trees? How far had she flown?
"What happened?" she asked. It seemed like a good place to start.
I don't really know. I was...ah...enjoying myselves over Florida when you came sailing by. I was so surprised that I didn't have time to focus before you hit the ground hard here in the Bahamas. "How do I..." Min began, but she found her senses shifting before she even finished the question. She was floating in the air high above a giant copy of herself who was standing on the beach, and yet she was still looking out of the eyes of her former self. An instant later, she found herself looking on the scene from countless different angles. It was wildly disorienting, but she found herself quickly adapting to it.
Now join together into another human-sized body so we can have a normal conversation again.
Min scoffed at the idea of 'normal' but she found another microscopic self and fused with her, doubling in size. After repeating the process numerous times, she stood face to face with her original self. She could feel Mark's consciousness come to the fire in this new body, while her main perception shifted back to the body in which she woke.
The two identical beauties looked like a fusion of the best parts of Min and Mark. Their hair was a gold-to-bright-red gradient and cascaded down their backs.
