The peaceful moment was interrupted by a burst or red smoke on the end of the diving board which dispersed in the wind made by two great leathery wings unfurling. A purple-skinned demon with enormous breasts and an ass to die for struck a pose, her slender tail lashing behind her.
"Ta da!" she sang. "I'm back, bitches!"
"Holy shit, it's another one!" Drake said. His fists were balled and he looked ready to fight.
Tanya steadied him by putting a hand on his shoulder. "Jules, is that you?"
"In the red hot flesh!" she squealed. "Now where's that dean? I want to teach her a thing or two."
"We beat her almost an hour ago," Becca said. "Where have you been?"
Julie floated up into the air without beating her wings and floated down to the center of the amazed girls. "Oh, here and there. Dealing with some problems, running some errands. It's so easy to lose track of time when you're basically a goddess."
"A what, now?" Maggie asked. She did not look amused, having had more than her share of megalomaniacal demon goddesses that day.
Julie spoke as if she were addressing a pre-schooler. "I've crossed a certain threshold, you see, and become what I have always been destined to be. I'm like Supergirl, if she could do magic, too. Watch!" She held out her hand and a bottle appeared in it. "Cinnamon schnapps, anyone? Don't worry, it won't change you into anything. At least not this bottle. Oh, we're going to have so much fun, now that I'm in charge. No offense Maggie, but I'm way more next-level than you now. But you guys are my friends, and I'll never forget that as long as you guys do everything I say."
Off to the side, Becca was whispering to Carl. "You still got those mints?"
Carl shook his head. "I used them all on the Dean."
"Well, we're fucked," Becca said.
