Later, Toru stood in front of her mirror and hummed to herself as she began to work at attaching the earrings to her ears. As you could imagine, it wasn’t an easy thing to do when you couldn’t actually see your own ears, but Toru had grown accustomed to having to feel out where certain parts of her body were.
…Still, after she finally hung the earrings from her ears and stared into the mirror - she couldn’t help but frown, and sigh. …They look nice, sure, but if you can’t see ME, what’s the point?
…Not to mention, she was now realizing how inconvenient they’d be for hero work. As it stood, the best way to make use of her invisibility was to, well, take off all her clothes. Strictly speaking, she should probably have gone about finding a way to make a costume that would turn invisible with her - something that she’d only recently realized was even potentially possible when they’d heard what that third-year Togata had been capable of - …but, well, was it bad that Toru kinda liked how she operated currently…?
Whatever, the point was that having to take earrings on and off every time she got in and out of costume would be kind of a pain.
“...It sure would be easier if they just turned invisible too,” Toru mused aloud to herself. “...Honestly, everything would be easier if my Quirk normally just…turned everything attached to me invisible.”
Suddenly, the mirror stopped reflecting her. Or, rather, it stopped reflecting what she’d been wearing.
Toru blinked once, twice - then gaped.
WHAT.
That was - it didn’t - no freaking way.
…Toru, not taking her eyes off the mirror, lifted a leg, reached down, and slipped off her sock. Before her eyes, it appeared again.
Had - had her Quirk just evolved?! Just by talking about it?!
