"Thank you, Roy," said the barefoot author, as he walked onto the set.
Wait a minute -- didn't we just do this?
"It was in a parallel thread. I seem to have been double-optioned. Guess I'm more popular than I thought. Excuse me, please." Dabbler got up.
Where are you going?
"Episode 175083, of course. That is, unless you really want to do this interview twice!"
Um --
Dabbler walked off the set, meeting himself on the way. "Hi Dabbler," he said. "I was just leaving."
"Me too," his other self laughed. "If you want to take over in ep 175083, I'll finish things up here."
"Sounds good to me."
Dabbler disappeared. He also sat down across from Roy.
What just happened here? Roy asked.
"Just a bit of cross-threading. We'll continue speaking in Option 1. Meanwhile, why don't we meet the rest of your guests?"
The rest--? Huh?
Dabbler disappeared again, this time not leaving another version behind. Perplexed, Roy faded into Option 1 to continue the interview. When it was done, he realized other authors had shown up and were waiting patiently to be questioned in Options 2-6. Rather nice of them...
