What can we expect you to write next?
Zorlond just looked at Roy for a bit, and then simply burst out laughing. "You make it sound like I've actually planned my future writing... I'm sorry, that's just not how my mind works. I poke around the AddVenture, I read episodes that seem popular, I poke titles that catch my eye, and wherever I find an episode that inspires me, I contribute. If someone adds to my addition, I can usually find the desire to continue. Plans sometimes take form if I work in a thread enough, but that's rare. Equally rare is getting inspired by my own work, in the cases where no-one decides to continue from my episodes. But I don't seriously make long-term -plans-."
No potential non-AddVenture, stand-alone stories?
Zorlond shrugged. "I can't truthfully say 'absolutely not', but the odds are definitely highly against it."
Can we at least get a projected contribution pattern, then?
"Well, I'll probably continue adding to the Backstage adventures, especially if they involve my Avatar or his loved ones. I might even decide to return to the main body of the AddVenture and contribute there, should a thread catch my interest. And I do have several interests. Contrary to apparent opinions, incest is -not- mandatory."
So the Jaeger family is -not- going to be getting bigger anytime soon?
"Not in the forseeable future, no, not by my hands. I gave some considerable thought on that matter, and it's simply far too easy to cause a sudden population explosion for the Backstage areas, and to have everyone who lives and works there be hip-deep in the Jaeger clan. So, I figure both Kiya and Anna have the power to simply -choose- to be either sterile or fertile on a moment's notice, and switch back and forth whenever the whim strikes. And, for the time being, the whim will be 'sterile'. Barring another Author's interference, natch, which they are certainly entitled to do. Just keep in mind, guys, I'm not the only one who has to keep the family tree straight... Or crooked, as the case may be."
