Lila and Monica: Lila's Gone

"I am a gargoyle!" Lila shouted, her booming voice echoing everywhere. She raised her taloned hands and hissed loudly, and Monica got a look at her ring. The gargoyle figure on the trinket had been replaced with an image of a human, a human that looked a lot like Lila.

"Lila, do you remember me?"

"Yes! You are Monica, my good friend! I will crush our enemies and make them taste blood! They will feel true pain!"

Monica gulped. At least the new Lila didn't see her as a threat. Perhaps she could be reasoned with?

"Lila, listen to me. I want you to-"

"Talk later, my friend. I must wreak vengeance upon the damned!" and with that, Lila jumped up and crashed through the ceiling to the floors above.

"Hey!" Monica shouted, "Come back!"

But all Monica can hear is the sound of Lila tromping through the upper floors of the mansion.

1. Monica waits around for Lila to return, and before long she does. "Success!" she shouts.
2. *Monica waits around for Lila to return, and before long she does. Lila, as a human, climbs down the hole she made in tattered clothes. "What happened? I woke up in the attic." Lila asked.
3. Monica waits around for Lila to return, but she gets bored and tries to find a way upstairs to the upper levels.
