Madison followed the mighty Cerebus as the hound traced a scent that caught his interest through the world the portal had brought them to. This was a forest world, it seemed, although in the distance Maddie swore she could hear traffic and occassionally she saw a plume of smoke from a passing jet in the sky. Wherever she was, she was in the wilderness part of this world.
Although she didn't know what Cerebus was tracking, she hoped it was Cephzar. The hound couldn't speak, but he did bark (if you can call the deep snarl he made a bark) to indicate he was on the trail of something. Eventually Cerebus led Madison deep into a thicket, and the thorns on the roses tugged and snagged at Maddie's clothes. Loose threads were abound on her outfit.
"Where are going?" Maddie asked, but Cerebus didn't respond in any form. She continued to follow the hound.
