Urban Primitives: A Cabin in the Forest Primeval

"Well, we can't have that," Alice replied. "Are you girls hungry or thirsty? There's a berry bush and a spring nearby, and as far as I can tell, they won't make your chest grow into a pair of basketballs."

"Sounds great," Heather replied. Together, the three women wandered off to fill their stomachs.


After a successful breakfast, Heather, Sharon and Alice decided to search deeper in the forest.

"I can't really tell what was in the caves, but Sharon seems pretty afraid of it," Heather said, "so whatever is in these woods can't possibly be worse."

"From what I saw in those caves," Alice replied, "that sounds about right. Believe-you-me, you don't want to know."

Staying closely together, the women explored the woods, seeing nothing particularly promising until they spotted a small, almost completely overgrown path.

"Any port in a storm, eh?" Alice said.

"Worth a try," Heather replied, with Sharon nodding in agreement.

Walking cautiously, they followed the path, occasionally jumping in fear only to find that what had frightened them was simply a bird or a rodent. Eventually, they came to what looked to be a cabin, or at least what once was. Moss-encrusted and neglected, it looked like it hadn't been anyone's home in a good long while.

Looking around inside, they found nothing but ruin. The place seemed to have been ransacked by wild beasts, deep clawed gashes in the wooden walls and dirt floor.

Most disturbing were the tattered remnants of clothing inside. They were all scraps of what was once apparently women's sleepwear. Oddly enough, though they were thoroughly torn, none of them was marred with any blood...

  1. *Alice suggests they leave the cabin as soon as possible. She has a bad feeling about this.
  2. Heather entertains the odd notion of waiting in the cabin until nightfall.
  3. Sharon points out some odd tracks outside the cabin.
  4. All three women get a craving for the berries and springwater they had earlier.
  5. Something Else.
