Unending BE - episode 292002

Staring incredulously Jim froze before the mirror and the apparition that stared back at him.
It was green... it was scaley and green... it was shiny scaley and green.
"I'm... I'm... a... Lizard... thing?" he managed weakly, touching his cheek with a clawed, scaled hand.
"Well," comes the still sweet voice of Sarah from beyond the door, "we never could work out if it was a Snake or Reptile man that you'd become if you remember. You always refused to check it out with the doc."
"B... but how?!?"
Sarah stuck her head back in the room and stared at you. She looked as if she might be beginning to believe you really DIDN'T remember the last few years after all.
"Hon, don't you remember?"

1. It was that experiment you told me you did before we met... wait, wasn't it 8 years ago? Maybe you've lost your memory back to that point?
2. It was that alien you found that bit you. You changed into one of their kind.
3. You've always been like this, you just wore a human skin suit most of the time. What, you suddenly think you're human?
4. *You don't remember that asteroid that hit 8 years ago? Loads of people changed hon, not just you. You got it lucky, some became really WEIRD!
5. It was that were-lizard (or snake) thing that bit you. It IS that time of the month you know!
6. What ELSE could have done SOMETHING like this?
