The early morning light filled the room, let in sweet bird calls and the sweet smell of life, but when it touched Jim's pale uncovered skin it caused pain. Jim let out a bellow more in keeping with a wounded animal than anything human as his skin blistered and burst into flame under the relentless power of sunlight. Jim wanted to run, but his body failed him and he stood there as his body began to char and burn away.
Suddenly a thick blanket was thrown over him as he was knocked away from the open window, coming to rest in the gloom of a corner. The blanket was pulled open to reveal Sarah was his savior. "Oh god Jim, you really mustn't remember what you are if you didn't hide from the sun." Jim groaned as examined himself. His body was covered with ugly burns that progressively worsened down his limbs until they were more like charred embers than human flesh. Jim whimpered as he realized that no human could survive being so badly burned, let alone be burned by simple sunlight. Despite the fact less than a minute ago his body had burst into flame, Jim's charred body began to shiver. "Sooo cold." His whole body felt sluggish, even his thinking felt sluggish, except for his stomach which roared savagely.
Sarah's face was worried before she stood up, grabbed the white shirt she wore to bed and tore it open in one smooth motion. Jim marveled at the sizable assests of the now topless girl that claimed to be his girlfriend, but felt his eyes drawn away to her long, smooth, perfect neck. His mouth began to water and he felt thirsty as she gingerly pressed her body against his.
Sarah presented her neck to him and closed her eyes. "You...I mean my Jim refused to feed on me, no matter how many times I offered because you didn't want to make me a vampire, but you're so badly injured that unless you get some blood soon, you'll die. As long as you don't take... too much, I'll be okay, and that will buy us enough time to get all you need." Jim's fangs began to itch and ache and he found it hard to stop from drawing ever closer to her neck...
