So Jim's shot glass chess plan worked. Death was a far better player, having centuries of practice, but with every piece he took, he just got drunker and drunker.

Pretty soon, Jim started to win pieces back. And it was then that he found the big flaw in his plan. For with every piece that Jim took, he got drunker and drunker.

Eventually...

1. *Jim holds it together, and wins
2. Death can hold his liquor. He wins.
3. *Stalemate!
4. Death falls asleep and Jim staggers off
5. Jim falls asleep, and when he wakes...
6. Something Else
