It was easy enough to follow Dr. Adams' advice -- at first. However, Sy knew that Pansy was no real fan of boxers, never had been. So when, after a couple of dutiful nights in boxers, he appeared in bed wearing briefs, she was delighted and excited, and they both forgot all about Dr. Adams' instruction.
The following morning, Sy woke up a bit early and relaxed in the dark. He reached down to give his balls a good scratch, and that was when things began to feel ... peculiar.
He went into the bathroom to get a good look. There was no denying it. His scrotum was intact -- but empty. His balls were gone.
A few hours later, Sy was sitting rather shamefacedly in Dr. Adams' office with Pansy. Dr. Adams entered, still looking rather icy and angry.
"That examination we just conducted has confirmed my suspicions. Sy: you still have your balls. They're just not in your scrotum any longer."
"What happened to them?" worried Pansy, feeling a little possessive."
"The Andromega works by plasticizing the sexual equipment, leaving it open to suggestion. When he wore tight briefs rather than roomy boxers, Sy's genital tissues took the wrong hint, and instead of hanging freely and naturally, his testicles retracted deeper into his body. They have retreated all the way back into his thighs: the left into his left, the right into his right."
Sy winced at the sheer impact of his mistake. "Is that bad?"
"They're intact, fuctional ... it's not really bad, but it's not that reassuring, either. In all our Andromega trials in the past, the testicles have remained in their proper scrotum. A testicle in each thigh, however, is a scenario we never counted on. It's a complete unknown, and there's no way of predicting for sure that everything will tun out all right."
"What can I do now?"
"So far as adjusting you balls: absolutely nothing right now, I'm afraid. As I say, though, they're still perfectly healthy. So I would advise you to go on taking the Andromega, and let me know the minute anything new develops."
