Ryouga stepped into the ring and blinked at the pink garbed figure standing in front of him. He'd seen a lot of fighters in his time and not many were like the one he was facing. Not that he had anything against dressing that way per se, but the guy's stance was all screwed up, and he was acting more like a showman than a fighter.
Shaking his head, he watched as the ref come into the ring.
"Dan Hibiki versus Ryouga Hibiki!" the offical called out, "Normal rules are in play! No permanent harm of any kind allowed! Ready?"
The Lost Boy nodded while Dan threw a fist into the air and called out "Yeah!"
"Bow!"
It took all he had not to stare as the pink garbed fighter made a production out of bowing.
"Fight!"
"Come and get it!" barked Dan.
"Excuse me?"
"I shall show you that my Saikyo style is the best!"
"Whatever. You going to fight?"
"I will defeat you! Rarararararara!" the pink clad man called out as he ran at his opponent with his fist ready for a blow. "Take this!"
Scowling, Ryouga blocked the punch and slammed his knee into the other man's gut.
That sent Dan stumbling back, but he smirked. "You have skills then. But I shall prove to you you that mine is better! Gadoken!"
Having gotten into a ready stance for anything, Ryouga found himself facing... a small ball of chi floating in front of the man's hand.
"Ha! Avoiding my attack are you... ARGH!"
"You talk more than that jerk, and I thought no one could do that," muttered the bandana clad boy as he followed through on his punch to the jaw.
"Why you... Koryuken!"
Noting that the move didn't hurt him despite the closeness that he had, Ryouga merely waited until the older man was coming down before sending a series of punches and kicks into him. Then as he was stumbling, Ryouga grabbed him by his gi collar, yanked him closer and... headbutted him.
Once he did that, Dan gave a little squeak of "Dad..." and fell unconscious.
Allowing the other fighter to fall to the mat, he looked down and wondered what his problem was.
"Winner by knockout!" yelled the ref, "Ryouga Hibiki!"
Reddening from the cheers, Ryouga waited until a worker could come and help him off before leaving the ring.
Cologne pogoed through the aisles as she lead her great-grandaughter to their seats. Such spectacles were routine to a tribe such as hers, though the crowd seemed to be larger. However, she thought it only a mere side trip to the real point of their journey.
But as she sat she noted that it appeared that the spectators thought something special had gone on at least.
"It's amazing!" went one emerald eyed girl, "If I didn't already have a sempai..."
A blonde with a bow in her hair nodded. "I know what you mean. He is cute, but they're both so strong."
"It is not like 'cute' and strong aren't things that have to be seperate," said a blue haired girl.
"Still, they both have some nice... stances," drawled a short haired blonde.
"Indeed," agreed the green haired girl next to her.
"They have to be the best martial artists EVER!" said a blonde with a hairstyle that looked almost... Amazon-like.
"I won't argue with you there," put in the girl in the mannish clothing.
Shampoo scowled and spoke in low tones to her great-grandmother. "They no know what real fighters is."
"Let them have their illusions child," the Elder told her, "It causes no harm to anyone."
"If you say so."
Cologne nodded, and turned back to watch the show, while:
