The three maids, Sharon, Brenda, and Candace, had changed little over the course of five years. While they should have been approaching their mid thirties by then, somehow they stayed as young as the day they had arrived. However, 18 year old Jenny, 17 Year old Brandy, and poor less developed Erica (a.k.a. Ricki) at 15 years old had changed drastically in mind as well as appearance.
Ricki had never fully forgotten her old life, unlike the others. She always figured that was a large part of why she was so unskilled compared to the others. His mind railed and railed against the conditioning his body had accepted, but even still he couldn't help but find herself unaccountably jealous of the other two women... What were their male names again??
Brandy drew in a deep breath, swept up in the romance of the situation. Not two years ago she had cornered Ricki, the only one who could read, and more or less forced her to read a book she had found aloud. Ever since then, Brandy had been an incurable romantic and now she was getting married... So why did something feel out of place?
Jenny held her hand up faster than the others, moving ahead a little bit as soon as she realized what was happening. She was always first in everything and always had een. Even if she DID have to stay up late practicing while the others slept, it was a small price to pay to seem more naturally inclined than Ricki and Brandy. She giggled a little as the handsome young man slipped a ring over her finger.
As the men settled the rings on the young ladies' fingers, something in their conditioning broke simultaneously, "Hey! Wait a minute, I can't get married to.. to a man!" announced Jenny/Jim, still unashamedly proud at being the first. "That's right, dude, It was those baths... that... Dammit Brenda, how could you do this to me?" called Brandy/Brad upset with how completely the conditioning had taken him.
Ricki.Rick stayed calm, removing the ring and wrapping it in her'fiance's' hand, "I'm sorry. I can't," she apologized to him before glaring briefly at the man and walking over to Candace. "Brad is right, you know... How could you have done this to us?"
