As Jim thought about what to do, the episode had a lengthly and unnecessary cutscene.
I recommend that if you don't like cutscene, you skip this episode, or you push the "back" button on your browser.
At that moment, across town, Gilfoy Slivovitz worked in his lab. Alone, because he was a sad and lonely man.
He was looking over the results from his latest achievement.
The machine he had created worked perfectly.
It was ingenious.
He didn't even know how he did it, because mere moments before he'd been a bungling fool.
Anyway, Gilfoy Slivovitz looked over the printouts and data he'd recieved from the electric monstrosity.
What it did was allow someone to make changes on the past and reality itself.
Using it, Gilfoy Slivovitz had managed to change Jim's day.
Gilfoy Slivovitz was now just looking over the results and seeing what bugs he needed to work out.
The past hadn't simply erased itself, of course, but a weird quirk in the nature of the machine had allowed the memories to be relayed to the subconscious section of the mind.
It was necessary for this to happen and have some knowledge retained, or Gilfoy Slivovitz would have never created the machine in the first place.
He only knew he'd tested it because Gilfoy Slivovitz was the sad sort of man who'd invent a device to see what had happened in one's dreams, because they are a free source of porn.
Anyway, as Gilfoy Slivovitz looked over the data, a smile grew on his small face.
He realized (having just forgotten) the implications of this.
Using this machine, Gilfoy Slivovitz could finally become more famous then Jim!
He could become famous, without even having character motivation to become famous!
The cutscene ended.
Back in his apartment, Jim stood up, got dressed, and readied himself to take some action.
- Gilfoy Slivovitz continues with his plan, actually writing episodes to make himself more famous.
- Gilfoy Slivovitz continues with his plan, actually rewriting history to make himself famous.
- Gilfoy Slivovitz continues with his plan, actually creating Jim's day but making it involve himself.
- Gilfoy Slivovitz continues with his plan, actually being confused as to why the other author is angry, and having fun by turning it into a storyline.
- The door to Gilfoy Slivovitz's lab bursted open, and Jim stormed inside, disregarding the fact that he'd been across town.
- Something else.
Go back - Go to the parent episode.
Gilroy Sippowitz (This is fun! I think that all authors should have an author that hates them!)
