"Melissa?" The man, presumably Tom, asked.
"Tom!" The woman, presumably Melissa, cried out.
Melissa ran forward to Tom, and everyone watched.
They looked at each other, not believing.
"You're not Tom!" Melissa said.
"Yes, I am Tom! And--"
"And what?" Melissa asked.
"Holy shit! You are Melissa! Holy shit, how old are you?"
"What?"
"The Melissa I know is an adult." Tom said. "We met in High School, and she used to call me Smokes."
Melissa became really weirded out.
"I still go to High School, and I just met someone named Tom, and I called him Smokes..."
"How did you get here?" Tom asked.
"Tom gave me a blue potion, I drank it, and became a giantess."
"Um, Melissa...?"
"Yeah?"
"You do realize that we're all tiny, right?"
"Of course. After I became a giantess, some aliens came and shrunk me. Then I was taken here in a van."
The entire room erupted into agreements on how they had arrived.
"Let me get this straight," Tom said, "You were all giantesses, and then you got shrunk down to a tiny size, and you were taken here against your will?"
The room erupted into another round of agreements.
"Holy shit!" Tom said. "I have got to report this to my superiors!"
Tom ran back towards the grating, and then stopped and turned around.
"I'm afraid that I can't take any of you with me, but I promise I'll be back."
With that, Tom climbed through the passageway, and closed the vent behind him.
