Williams looked down at the video monitor.

There were several Jims, all cramped up in a tiny room, and trying to deal with the fact that there was more than one Jim.

Williams chuckled.

He turned to a man dressed in gray by his side.

"Well, Dr. Commander, that was a brilliant idea." Williams said. "Creating new Alts through time travel, and extracting Jim from each of them."

"Of course." He said. "We need to know why Alts have been collapsing."

"And hopefully we'll find out before our Alts lose contact. Speaking of which, isn't it time that you return?"

"Ah, yes, I thank you for reminding me. General House will be expecting my report."

"In that case, I bid you farewell."

Dr. Commander beckoned his associate closer, and pulled an electronic device out of his pocket.

The two of them disappeared in a flash of light lasting about 10 seconds.

Once they were gone, Williams opened a desk drawer and pulled out a blue, glowing orb.

He brought it up to his face, and it began floating.

Report, it said, glowing brighter as it did so.

"Hamilton has been taken out of commission in this Alt, and the others will collapse before they realize what's going on."

And the others?

"I'm arranging to have all crucial people, including my duplicates, evacuated from those Alts before they collapse."

Good, good. And the Ellises?

"We've taken as many as we can." Williams replied.

Excellent. Report back in 24 hours.

The sphere went dark, and fell into his hand, which he returned to the desk.

Williams took one last look at the monitor, and left the office, heading for the elevator.
1, ChangeCorp and the MIG worked together.

2, Williams has taken over ChangeCorp in this thread.

3, Williams is also working for someone else.

4, Williams has, with the help of the MIG, taken several different Jims from different Alts he has created, and is going to be conducting experiments.
