Williams

Williams returned the glowing orb to his desk.

He pressed a button on his intercom, and summoned Johnson.

Johnson quickly and obediantly entered the office.

"Yes sir?" Johnson asked.

"I need you to arrange security measures for our guests."

"Ellis and McCormack?" Johnson asked.

"Yes," Williams replied. "I need surveilance cameras set up to monitor them, and I need to be able to make them 'jump' to another Alt if need be."

"Will do, sir."

Johnson left the room, and Williams resumed sipping his coffee.

He looked back at the security monitor, and watched Sid, the middle-management person at Literary Guardians, pace back and forth within his cell.

1, Not all Williams know about Johnson working for someone else (which he does, the UNA).

2, This Alt is going to be left behind, since it will collapse.

3, Sid (of this Alt) is involved somehow and has been captured.
