Williams


Williams nearly choked on his coffee.

The alarms began blaring without warning.

He set it down, and ran to the elevator...

Once at the command center, he found two of the other Williams waiting for him.

"What's going on?" He asked.

They pointed.

Up on the map of the world, all the flashing lights had turned bright white, while a single one had turned bright red.

"Scan it!" Williams ordered. "Get one of the Cahncav's in here! We need their expertise!"

One of the other Williams ran out to fetch a Cahncav, while the other stayed with the Williams of this Alt.

"It seems to be coming from another Alt..." Williams said.

"Coordinates?"

"There are none."

"What?"

Just then, two more Williams entered, along with a Cahncav.

"What's going on?"

"Cahncav, get over there and give me coordinates!"

Cahncav scanned the data readouts.

"Sir... sirs... There are no coordinates. We only know something happened because we detected the particle beam."

"But the only way that could happen is if they shrunk a male..." One of the Williams said.

The Williams of this Alt said, "We need to contact them!"

He hit a couple of switches on a console, and out came a hidden panel with a microphone.

Williams turned the system on.

He then put on and activated his voice modulator.

"This is Williams, do you copy?"

*static*

"This is Williams, do you copy?"

*static*

"This is Williams, do you copy!!!"

*STATIC*

"Who could have done this to them?" Williams asked.
1, The plan may not be foolproof (hooray for the good guys).

2, There are enemies of the aliens that CC hasn't been told about.
