Flattered beyond belief at the roaring party going on for him at Princess Dawn’s (and Mare Vir’s) doing, Lycanthrokeith just couldn’t help but step into the room and join the festivities.
Flanked by Weretigresses Morgan and Beth on one side and on the other, Werevixen Zoe and Elven Queen Mirya on the other, and Gargoyle Lila overhead, he let loose with one giant HOOOOOWWWWWWLLLLLLLL to announce his presence.
With all his character friends and fellow authors present, he bashed long into the night. By the time the sun came up (and with it, his reversion to human form), everyone present was pretty wound down. Some departed (such as Demona and her ilk, to avoid the sun), others found cozy spots to sleep the party off (Beth and Morgan curled up together at his feet, while Maggie “hung around” and caught some Z’s), while others just took a short break from partying (namely every satyr present).
It was at this time that Roy Del Frink, Addventurer-about-town and BTW interviewer, asked Lycanthrokeith for if he would mind a quick interview. Actually, he ironically noted that it had been a little over a year since his name first came up as an interview subject!
With a smile, Lycanthrokeith said, “Sure, why not? After all, I’m not going anywhere at the moment,” he chuckled, motioning to the two passed-out weretigresses at his feet.
Roy laughed, readied his camera and notepad, and posed his first question. “How did you originally discover the BE Addventure?”
“It was several years back on the original TransForum,” Lycanthrokeith stroked his chin and said, “when an artist and writer by the name of K Mistro collected a series of links to TF, or TransFormation, BE chapters. I was, and still am, a TF nut at heart, and so I checked them out and contributed where the mood struck. Shortly after that, I found out I needed to write in HTML, which is why my first few episodes look like dyslexic run-on sentences.” He and Roy laughed at that, and LK continues. “After a little while, I gained a regular co-author in The High Commander, and the rest is history.”
“Now, you don’t tend toward a lot of BE in your work. Why is that?”
LK gritted his teeth and scratched the back of his neck. “Well, this’ll sound embarassing, but I’m really not into super-extreme BE.”
Roy made a shocked gasp, to which LK smirked. “Don’t get me wrong, big breasts and inviting nipples rule, but I’m not into much above DD’s. My big thing is multiple breasts, and you’ll notice most of my characters that get multiples, like the tigress girls and the Moontouched, have an enlarged top pair and usually two or three progressively smaller pairs. I like the idea of rows of breasts, and since the majority of my characters are part animal, it makes sense. So far, no one’s given me tons of flak about my high TF to low BE ratio, so I must be doing okay.”
“Indeed. Any particular threads you’re especially proud of, or not proud of?”
LK looked around. “Dammit, Roy, you know almost all my characters have super-sharp hearing,” he whispers, “did you have to ask that here? Actually, I’m proud of all of them,” he quietly intoned, making a subtle eye-glance in the direction of the original Moontouched werewolf girls. “As for least, I never was really happy with the way Tanya the gator-girl came out. She’s not here, so I guess the feeling’s mutual.”
“Do you have an all-time favorite episode?”
“Man, there’s so many! I was always really proud of the episode during “Reclaiming Evil” when the Seven Deadly Sins showed up for acting roles in Demona and Julie’s movie. Tough bunch to work with, but I think it came together well. The Moontouched episode when Emily and Michelle, and Krista and Lisa mated was a favorite for the romantic in me, and writing Enthetous as a villain for Mirya and Lila was a cold rush for me.”
“Shame he couldn’t be here.”
“Yeah, that pesky death thing and all. Never stopped those two, though,” he snickered, motioning to Olivia and the zombie Sharon. “Man, how many Sharons have I transformed over the years? I see the zombie, the blue dragoness, and the satyress here, did I miss any?”
Roy thought back, and even counted on his fingers. “I’m not sure, either. Two final questions, I can see you’re getting tired. First, will your writing schedule be improving in the coming months?”
“Hard to say right now,” LK nodded. “I’ve got some big things going down in Real Life, which have sucked away at my creativity lately, at least as far as writing goes. Truth is, I haven’t written much of anything here, and aside from technical Role-Playing stuff for my website,” he paused to grin and give a thumbs-up, “the one-and-only www.lycanthrokeith.net , I haven’t written anything at all. Hopefully, it will change, but a lot depends on my day-to-day frame of mind. Tonight did a LOT to improve it, believe me. Oh, and thanks to Mick Foley, Master of the Cheap Pop.”
Roy laughs. “Yeah, you’ve got it down, all right. Finally, anything you’d like to say to your characters, fellow authors, and fans?”
“Yeah. Thanks to all of you, for everything. Mare Vir, High Commander, FlySpek, Nick Ceasar, Chimera, Punchbag, Vampire Lover, and anyone else my rusty sieve of a memory made me forget, thanks for inspiring, challenging, and supporting me over the years. To those who’ve enjoyed my work, I’m glad I can give you joy with my words and thoughts. To my characters, you’re all the best, and I should know! Seriously, I couldn’t have done it without you all, and thanks for all the ups and downs. Here’s looking forward to another year of ‘em!”
At that, LK rises from his chair, stirring but not waking two yawning weretigresses. “Thanks for letting me yammer on, Roy. Oh, and you might not wanna be sitting there when they wake up. Trust me, they’ll be hungry.”
Roy blinks and nervously steps back, as Morgan gives a wide fanged yawn. “Uh, yeah, sure.” He watches as LK walks over to Dawn and her satyress band. They exchange words, and Dawn opens a portal to a moonlit forest. LK motions Dawn, the satyress Sharon, several of the therianthrope girls, and any other character interested into the portal. He steps in, beginning a shift into his werewolf form upon the first touch of moonlight.
“See ya soon,” he snarls humorously, “give or take a few full moons.”
With that, the portal closes, leaving Roy with an interesting interview to file.
