Williams proudly strode into the office.

"It happened." He said.

The others turned to him.

"What happened?" Cahncav asked.

"They have been put into sync." Williams replied. "That leaves only us and one other version out there."

"So are we going to begin testing?"

"Of course we are." Williams said. "Activate the emitter."

"What height should I set it for?" Cahncav asked.

After musing about it for a bit, Williams decided, "Put it at about, uh, 5 inches."

"Yes sir." Cahncav said. "Activating the emitter."

And all over the world, the device had its effect.
