Sharon put the shirt on a hanger and placed it just inside the door where everyone could see it as they came in. The shirt was a big hit with the ladies at the party. They all thought that it was the cutest thing ever. The few guys were pretty puzzled though; girls with their heads screwed on straight were getting all gushy over a completely sexist tee-shirt and calling it cute.
Only Rick tried to bring it up though.
“Sharon, I like the picture on the shirt, she’s a complete babe, but don’t you think—”
Rick was silenced by a cupcake jammed into his mouth by Candace. “I’m the only complete babe you need to be worried about, Rick.” She took a bite out of the cupcake, kissing him at the same time. “Chew, chew, gulp. So don’t think.”
Wisely, Rick shut up and after that no one was willing to bring up the shirt again except to say that it looked nice, or cute in the case of the ladies. Finally, in the wee hours of the morning when only Candace and Rick remained, Candace, slightly tipsy, told Sharon to put the shirt on.
“C’mon Sharon, you’ve been showing it off all night, you have to be going nuts by now. Put it on.”
“. . . Ok.” Sharon grabbed the hanging shirt and started to duck into the den to change.
“Sharrrroooon. Put it on out here. You don’t have anything we haven’t seen before.”
Oooookay, thought Jim. Candace is a little past tipsy.
Sharon giggled, she was just tipsy, turned her back to the gang and slooowly unbuttoned and slid her blouse down. Her hands reached back and popped the clasp on her bra. A slight turn as she slipped the bra off gave Jim a tantalizing glimpse while denying Rick and Candace anything. Then, with no implied sex whatsoever, she pulled the shirt on and spun around.
Her smile glowed in the megawatt range and Jim stiffened, flashing back to a similar smile from earlier that day.
