Relaxation came naturally to Nickophrena, the great goddess. And why shouldn't it? Her latest adventure concluded and in the company of her new lover and soon-to-be husband (wedding date still undetermined), Nicky breathed a sigh of contentment. A sigh that was interrupted by Jim coming up behind her and, playfully, cupping her breasts with his hands. "Guess who?" he said, chuckling.
"You'd think after 34 times of you doing that, I'd be tired of it," Nicky said playfully, "And yet... hehehe."
She layed back on the soft fluffy cloud, Jim at her side. For the past two weeks the two of them had been relaxing high above the Earth, lounging around on the clouds, exploring each others' bodies, and making love among the cumulonimbus. "This is perfect," Jim said as they spooned.
"I've always loved the quiet up here. Never any troubles or problems."
"Do you hear something?" Jim asked. "Sounds like a roar."
"Nothing can live at this altitude," Nicky said, "At least, not without a little godly intervention," explaining how mortal Jim could survive way up here.
Jim peeked over the edge of the cloud down towards the ground far below. "Hon, we gotta go! Quick, get us out of here!"
"What? What is it?" Nicky looked down next, seeing the large white aircraft hurtling towards their cloud. They looked at each other, then back at the approaching craft.
"Space shuttle!" they both shouted in unison, diving from the cloud to avoid the incoming Discovery orbiter. They didn't fall very fall before Nicky whisked them away to someplace a little less NASA-occupied.
