Later on in the day, Shang waiting for Ping Fa to show up in camp finally sees him with Princess Jasmine.
”Ping Fa, come here” Cries out Li Shang, Watching the boy make it to him in double time.
”Yes Sir, can I help you Sir” Ping/Mulan calls out at full attention, seeing Li Shang wasn’t amused.
“Where have you been, I search all down river for you, couldn’t find hind or hair of you anywhere” Shang shouts out into her face.
”Was I there Sir” Mulan said
”I said NO” said Shang.
”So I must have been on the upper side THEN, sir” Mulan was arching backwards, for Shang was leaning forward, ready to explode into her face.
”Jasmine intervene “Oh I’m so sorry Li Shang, did I say down river; when I‘ll meant upper river” said Jasmine, still seeing Mulan arching way back, with a horror face on.
Shang walked away Mulan to whisper to Jasmine, yet Mulan over hearing it all, with a broad face “What of the lovely young lady friend you where with, what become of her?”
“Oh she just was a native girl from a nearby village, I believe her name was Mulan; if that helps you” Jasmine said, giving a wink of the eye to Mulan.
”Mulan, Mulan” he whispers over again, then turning to Mulan “what are you smiling about solider”
”Oh nothing sir" Mulan said, watching him storm off
