Ranma just sighed as she stripped, entering the furo.
“I’m glad that you aren’t a boy.”
Ranma shook her head. “Crazy girl, what’s the matter with being a boy?”
Now, for those familiar with the genre, we know that this is near the beginning of the series, where the Tendos don’t know Ranma is cursed.
What Ranma doesn’t know that in this world, the Tendos are Shikima.
Unknown to our pigtailed Saotome, the Tendos were very interested in her.
Akane had become quite fond of feeding off humans, but strictly preferred females, as they lasted longer, while her sisters had no favorites on either side of the gender fence.
But, it didn’t take a Miroku clan member to tell them how powerful Ranma’s soul was. Nabiki had verified it when she had felt up the supposed fiancé to discover it was really a fiancée.
To the Tendo sisters, Ranma was a full buffet for them. And they weren’t going to let her go.
But the same held true for Soun Tendo. Now, he truly did love his wife, even if she had a genetic defect that sometimes allowed her to take male form in her Shikima state.
Not that the two hadn’t shared a few female conquests together.
And he knew all of his daughters also possessed the same mutation.
But he had been without constant companionship for a while. True, at his age, the Saotome girl might not last more than a decade, but Soun did suspect he could get a few more children from the ripe young girl.
Perhaps even a son to help carry on, just like his old man.
Sadly—depending on whose point of view you were using—Ranma was blissfully unaware of these facts as she began to scrub herself clean.
