Jamie couldn't believe what had happened. The previous day, she had just been Jim. Now all of a sudden, she was a girl and someone else was Jim. She couldn't help but like Jim and want to be with him, since after all Jim was herself... but she didn't want to be treated this way either.
"Okay, Jamie," said Jim. "Clean the dishes."
"Yes, master."
She tried to rationalize to herself why she began to clean the dishes. After all, in order to stay here, she had to stay in Jim's good graces, which meant doing what he says.
"Now come here and sit in my lap."
"Yes, master."
Strangely, the concept thrilled her... She didn't even mind when Jim reached under her apron.
"Wait," said Jim, checking the clock. "You'd better get up. I have to go now."
"Don't leave me like this, master! Will you get me some clothes? Maybe I should try some of your clothes instead of this apron. I'm you and they're really mine. At least a T-shirt would fit me."
"I don't want you to do that, Jamie."
It occurred to Jamie that maybe it wasn't a good idea. Though she couldn't quite figured out why she had decided to do what Jim had asked and stay in the apron.
"Now kiss me goodbye before I go."
"I don't want to kiss you. I'm a man!"
"You don't look like a man."
Jamie sighed and said "Okay, master", and kissed Jim before he left.
Before Jim closed the door, he added "Now, Jamie, stay here and don't leave, and don't reveal that you came from a plant."
Jamie wasn't sure why, but she would obey what Jim asked.
