"I may no longer belong to any clan, but I'm still a trained warrior," Ginchiyo said. "I'll only warn you once more. Leave. Now."
"You may not be the leader of the Tachibana, but you're still the Tachibana Ass Queen," one of the men said. Ginchiyo gritted her teeth. The men had no intention of leaving her alone, so she felt it was time to back up her words with a little force. Drawing her sword, she took a a quick swipe at one of the men, who ducked out of the way. The blade struck a nearby wooden support beam, snapping in half.
"What?!" Ginchiyo couldn't believe it. Her prized sword, the blade she had wielded in countless battles, broken by a piece of wood? This isn't possible! she thought.
As she stared, dumbfounded by the sudden fragility of her prized weapon, Ginchiyo left herself open. The man she had attacked ducked back in front of her and punched her square in the stomach. Unprepared for the attack and her stomach still somewhat ill from the previous night's activities, the former samurai buckled and fell to her knees as pieces of her armor fell to her feet. Feeling ill, there was little she could do as the men swarmed her and tore the rest of her armor away with ease, revealing the faded slurs on her skin.
"Damn you, Kotaro!" Ginchiyo shouted between coughs. That bastard set me up! I should have known not to trust him, but what do these men intend to do with me?
