Mastered Red - Thoughts of a slaves sister

Nabiki sat at her desk, thinking of the previous night. Something about how her younger sister had acted had felt odd. Not anything specific of course, but there had been enough discrepancies in Akane's behaviors that Nabiki was convinced that something had happened affecting her little sister.

This observation drew a mixed reaction from the Middle Tendo sister. On the one hand a lot of the situations that Akane became involved with involved crazy martial artists with little concern for hurting innocent bystanders like her. On the other hand, most of those situations also offered opportunities for extra cash, and especially for a lot of fun.

"What to do?" She mused to herself.
