As he considered what had happened with Nabiki in the past, Ranma recognized that she really liked playing with him. But rather than the sort of games that grade schoolers might have played, or that childhood friends might have engaged in, she tended to toy around with others. If she could twist someone's expectations and thoughts around, she would, and she seemed to like to use people's emotions against them.
What he'd wanted was for her to be nice once and a while. If only she could be friendly without something behind it, then perhaps she could actually be approached for something other than being fleeced on a loan, or being used in a scheme. Had he been given the chance, then he'd have her think well and appreciate him, maybe to the point that she'd be selfless towards him.
Now he had this game that let him imagine that possibility, and so he rather thought that it might be nice to try it out.
Nabiki Tendo will really, REALLY like Ranma Saotome. She will not only be impressed by his skill in physical things, but will see him as being handsome and brave. Being as friendly as she can with him will be what she'll want, and she'll want to be with him in every way that she can. Selflessly sharing whatever she has with him will be fine by her, and she will like lending out whatever belongs to her to him.
The pigtailed boy scratched his nose as he considered the last line, but as he thought of the way that she'd only let him borrow things after having him almost beg for it, and always with strings attached, he figued that it was fair enough to do.
Pleased with the idea that he'd come up with, he smiled, and considered what it would be like to have this happen, while:
