Ino looked Sakura up and down, as she sat down behind the counter, where people couldn't just look in and see her. So far, Ino hadn't spotted any indication of anything that had been done to Sakura physically. Did this mean it was a genjutsu then?
Ino kneeled next to Sakura, put her open palm on her shoulder. She closed her eyes, focused, and pushed her chakra into the pink-haired ninja, hoping to release any potential genjutsu.
She opened one eye after a moment to see Sakura looking down at her. "..Sakura?" she asked, unsure if it had worked or not.
Sakura blinked. "Oh..um..that's me right?" she asked. Apparently she didn't realize at first that Ino was talking to her.
Ino let her arm fall and sighed. "Uuugh geez," she lamented. "What is it? What am I missing?"
"Ummm..." Sakura looked like she was trying to think. "Ino miss...ooh! Uh! Ino missing my...pants..?" Sakura looked more unsure of this answer as she went on. "Did I get it right?"
"Yeah sure," Ino said, putting her hand to her forehead. "You're a genius."
Sakura stared. "Gene-ee-us?" she asked.
"Okay, look," Ino appealed. "What happened to you today?"
Sakura tried to think. After a moment she replied. "Sakura came to Ino shop."
"BEFORE that," Ino emphasized. "What happened to your pants?"
Sakura sat and thought for another minute. "Sakura think...went peepee," she said.
"You took off your pants to go to the rest room?"
Sakura nodded, slowly at first, then more emphatically. "Yeah yeah! Took off to peepee!"
"Why didn't you put them back on?" Ino asked.
"Ummm...Sakura forgot?"
Ino was losing patience. "How about this," she started. "When did you turn into an idiot?"
Sakura opened her mouth slightly, then closed it. She seemed at quite a loss as to what to say.
"Guuuuuh," Ino groaned. She was getting NOWHERE!
