"I'm sure Malcolm has sent plenty of girls here but most wont have survived long" Gemma began as she and Lisa made their way tentatively through the forest.
"Or they'll have been transformed, or maybe even got lucky and got hold of a unicorn horn. I've only met three other girls since I've been here - you, Carly, who was here when I arrived, and Tina who came along a little later. She was the one who ate the berries"
"Oh, I see" Lisa thought it best not to dwell on Tina "And what about Carly?"
"She left the hideout a few days ago saying she knew how to get a unicorn horn. I'm sure she'll still be around though, she's very smart and totally clued up about this place. I doubt I'd have survived the first day without her"
"Maybe she found the horn and escaped?" Lisa suggested.
"No, she wouldn't do that to me" Gemma responded with certainty "And she knows where I am"
