Katie wondered how Dál could know that she wasn't a genuine vixen. After all, though he was aware that she was in the process of becoming a fox-girl, she hadn't told him about her dream about the God of Foxes and the powers that he claimed to have given her. There was much that was mysterious about this man who claimed to be merely a bard. Perhaps listening to his conversation with the she-centaur would shed some light.

JH (I wanted to take this option, as it fits in with my idea that Dál has to be on the side of good given what he's done for Katie previously, but inspiration was lacking and I couldn't think of anything suitable for him to say to the she-centaur)
