"Funny." Megan replied. "I was just thinking the same about you..." With that she suddenly leapt at Natalie, knocking her sister to the ground and landing on top of her with enough force to produce a slight tremor that shook the top of the mountain. Megan was sure that she heard the vibrations dislodge a few rocks and send them tumbling down the mountainside - and the thought that she was responsible for that just made her even hornier. "Oops." she said softly. "Guess I don't know my own strength..."
She started to rub Natalie's breasts and kiss her neck, and as always Nat was ready to fuck Megan long and hard, her superpowered body was aching for sex...but there was just one little thing bothering her. "Do you mind if we just get a little way away from the house first...?" she asked.
"Why?" But before Nat even had a chance to reply Megan had already figured out the reason. "Oh - you're worried that once we start, the vibrations might-"
"Well, you do have a tendency to get carried away..."
"I get carried away!?!" Megan laughed. "Oh, what, and you and Aly don't?"
"Course we don't." Nat replied, trying to be serious but failing totally. "We're responsible mature adults, not horny teenagers like you."
"Yeah, right." Megan replied sarcastically. "And what's with this 'teenager' bit? I'm nearly 19. I'm a grown woman."
"Believe me, I've noticed..."
Megan smiled gratefully at the compliment, and Nat was sure she blushed ever so slightly. "Anyway," she said, "with the amount of sex you guys have this place is gonna be rocking on its foundations morning noon and night...and I'm sure you took that into account when you built it."
"I did, but even so-"
"Alright, alright. If it'll make you feel better, we'll go a little way down the mountain." With that Megan leapt to her feet, pulled Natalie up with her in the same motion, and then the two sisters walked hand-in-hand back across the construction site.
At the point where she had first been able to catch a glimpse of Nat's new house, Megan stopped and turned back to take one last look at her friend's magnificent achievement. "Does all this...have a name?" she asked.
Natalie slipped her arms around Megan's waist, hugging her from behind, and whispered "I was thinking 'home'..."
"No, I mean an address, anything like that..."
"Well...no. There's no need, all the mail goes to my mom these days and it's not like anyone's gonna be visiting - except you and Wendy." She took hold of Megan's hand again and the two continued their downward journey. "Why'd you ask?"
"No reason." Megan replied innocently, as she walked to the edge of the construction site and looked out at the bustling city far below them. "It's just that from up here the view's a lot like the one from the top of Mount Olympus, and if you don't have a name for the house you should totally name it after that..."
"...what?"
"Yeah, aside from all the snow it's pretty much the same, 'cept it's not quite so high." She turned back to face Nat. "But I guess that's why you built it up here, huh?"
It suddenly hit Natalie like a punch to the gut; as far as she was concerned she'd just been building a home for her family on the top of Shadow Peak...the fact that her ancestors had their home on the top of Mount Olympus had been the furthest thing from her mind. "No...it never occured to me before..."
"Oh, come on Nat. You can't tell me you put this place together without realising the similarities..."
"But I didn't, honest!" Natalie protested. "I just thought that this would be the safest place to keep Katie and Cammy, they were the only thing I was thinking about..."
"Oh. Well...it's kind of a neat little parallel, huh?"
But Nat's mind was already racing, imagining billions of different scenarios. "Not if someone down there makes the connection...and realises what we really are..."
"How could they?"
"Well...I don't know, but if they did..." Natalie sat down on a rock, and ran her hands through her long blonde hair in total disbelief. "Oh, Goddess, what have I done...?"
"I don't know, what have you done?" Megan asked, now more than a little confused. "It's just a house on a mountain - it's not like you're going on TV and telling the whole world your backstory...don't worry about it..."
But Natalie was worried; as always she was thinking of the bigger picture and it was in her nature to worry about stuff like this. "Meg...if I suddenly declared to the world that the four of us were demi-gods what do you think would happen?"
"I don't know..."
"I do. World War 3 is what would happen."
Megan rolled her eyes. "Now you're just being silly..."
"Am I? Meg, the people on this planet have been killing each other for thousands of years because they can't agree on their gods; if the world found out that we're demi-gods it'd do so much damage..."
"Oh..." Megan had to admit that Nat had a point, though she still wasn't sure how it tied in with the house. "Yeah, I kinda see where you're coming from..."
"That's why I wear my Superwoman uniform so much." Nat added. "So that people associate us with that kinda thing and don't think about the alternatives."
"I thought you wore it so much cos it turns Katie on?" Megan suggested with a smile.
"Well, there is that..."
"And cos it turns you on as well..."
"That too..."
"And me. You totally own that outfit."
"Really?" Natalie asked, momentarily distracted from her thoughts by her sister's confession.
"Hell yeah. Seeing your ass in those tight red shorts, and the way the spandex stretches over your boobs and your muscles...well, it was enough to get me through some nights before I got together with Wendy, let's put it like that..."
"I see." Nat smiled. "Well, I guess I'll have to remember that..."
Megan smiled back, but she knew Nat well enough to realise that behind the smile her sister was still brooding over something that would probably never happen, and she decided she wasn't going to let her. "Let me tell you something about Wendy," she began, and as Megan slid onto her lap and put her arm round her shoulder Nat braced herself for yet more dreamy-eyed anecdotes about her sister's beloved girlfriend. "She's got an incredible imagination, and before she found out about my powers she'd bounce all sorts of ideas around about what we really were. Ancient Greek goddess wasn't anywhere on her list, Nat. I don't think it'd make most people's top twenty."
"No?"
"No."
Nat couldn't resist asking "So what did she think we were then?"
"Aliens."
"Oh...what, from the planet Krypton, I suppose?"
Megan blushed. "Well...maybe I did steer the conversation that way at times..." She gave Nat a quick kiss on the cheek and told her "You worry too much, sis!"
"You think so?"
"I know so. Nobody's gonna work out our secret just cos you built a house on top of a mountain, that's just silly..."
"But it's so obvious...anyone who thinks about it long enough is gonna spot the connection, especially if I call it Olympus..."
"You didn't."
"No, that's true...
"And even if they do spot it it doesn't matter. Without any evidence - which'd be impossible to get - it's just gonna be a silly little observation. So long as we keep the secret just like we have been doing, nothing bad'll happen." She kissed Nat on the cheek and smiled. "Trust me."
Nat managed to smile back, trying to push her thoughts of doom and gloom to the back of her mind. "I hope you're right." she said quietly.
"Sure I am. Look - maybe it's all just a coincidence?"
Natalie shook her head. "I don't believe in coincidences." she said firmly.
"How about destiny then?"
Now Nat smiled again, much wider this time. Megan's youthful enthusiasm for superheroing was sometimes a little misplaced, but it was always extremely infectious. "Maybe." she replied. "I used to think we made our own destinies...but the way things have turned out I couldn't have planned all this if I'd tried." She put her arms around Megan and added "Then there are times when I look at you, and I think back to the girl you were when we first met...and I know there's such a thing as destiny."
"What was wrong with me when I first met you?" Megan asked.
"Nothing, honey. Nothing at all. It's just that you weren't my little baby sister back then...and now I wouldn't wanna live my life without you in it, Meg. I just wouldn't."
"Same here." Megan replied. The two girls sat in silence for a moment, and then Megan said "Look at it this way, Nat; living up here is as safe as Katie and Cammy are ever gonna be unless you give them superpowers, and I know that if it comes down to a choice between protecting the big family secret or protecting your girls it's no contest. You focus on them. Think about how thrilled they're gonna be when they see what you've built them." She grinned. "Think about your wedding day! You're gonna get married in that house!"
That was enough to bring Natalie round. She scooped Megan up in her arms as she got to her feet and looked back at the house she'd built. "I am." she said happily. "And you and Aly're gonna be my bridesmaids."
"And we'll all live happily ever after." Megan quipped.
"Something like that." Nat agreed.
Megan gestured to the house. "So...Olympus then?"
Natalie shook her head. "No." she said firmly. "New Olympus." She looked down at Megan, who smiled approvingly.
"New Olympus. Sounds good."
"I just hope it-"
Nat fell silent and Megan instinctively leapt out of her arms ready for action as there came a cry for help from a couple hundred miles away. It was a job for a superhero - or perhaps even two - and there was no time to waste, so even before Nat could ask her if she wanted to come Megan had grabbed hold of her sister's hand and squeezed. She wanted to help.
Before Megan knew what was happening she and Natalie were hurtling through the air, having launched themselves off Shadow Peak mountain and managing to clear the entire city in one mighty leap...and although they were heading out to deal with an emergency Megan just couldn't resist letting out a cry of delight. Moments like this, the thrill of using her wonderful superpowers, were something she could never ever repay Natalie for. This was the incredible gift she had given her.
She looked over at Nat, knowing from the look on her face that she felt it too, and as the two girls looked lovingly into each other's eyes each knew exactly what the other was thinking.
I'm so glad I met you...
