"I don't know what to do," said Jim (still known as Jaime to others). "We need that wand. It was all fun while we had it, but without it, what's going to happen?"
"Yeah, I wish we could find that wand," said Rick (still known as Rachel to others). "Wait a minute. We could find that wand. I feel it, we just could if we looked for some pieces that are *so* big..." She moved her hands next to each other. "I just know it."
"What are you doing? You don't need to be so literal. And how do you know that it's in pieces and how do you know how big the pieces are anyway?"
"It just came to me. Jim. I suddenly knew it... Oh, now I think I get it. I said the word 'wish'. That we could find the wand. And suddenly I knew how to find the wand. Which means that I got my wish granted! Somehow I don't need the wand any more. The magic came to me somehow."
"Hold on, Rick" replied the still pregnant Jim. "It granted your wish but it wasn't very smart about it. Saying that you wish you could find the wand means you want the wand to appear. It doesn't mean you want to know how to find the wand. If that was a wish it means the wishes aren't working too well.
"Come on. It was a wish. I got it. Here, let me try. I wish you're not pregnant any more."
Suddenly Jim doubled over, as much as she could with a pregnant belly. "The cramps... Rick, I told you that the wishes don't work right. I'm not going to be pregnant any more after this, because you just put me in labor!"
