"Imagine me pretending to be 'Akane Tendo'," Akane murmured, and then gave off a small giggle.
"That doesn't make sense," Ranma grunted, his brow furrowing as he spoke. "Ya are Akane Tendo."
"Nope, not really. Not anymore."
"But...."
She reached up and put one slender finger on his lips. "Try to remember, I gave all that up. I'm no longer a human girl with all that came along with that. All I am is your doll, 'Akane', for you to play with. My body and mind have been made so that you can play with me however, and whenever, you want to."
"Oh, right. I forgot."
"I thought so. But that's fine. You have all the time that you could need to figure out all that you can do with me."
"That'll be interesting. Still, it'll still be tough to get alone since you'll be 'Akane' like you used to be," he commented.
"Actually, I'll only be pretending to be her. The girl that I used to be isn't around any more, though I'm the one who'll do best in acting like her. I still have all the memories and stuff."
"If ya say so. But it'll be that easy?"
"Pretty much. You see, dolls are meant for play, and part of that is for taking on roles. Our owners dress us up, and have us pretend to be whatever we're made up to look like," Akane revealed, and waved a hand towards her box, and what had been her wardrobe. "And you have plenty of clothes to put on this body that you now own."
"Then whatever I want...."
"You can have. If you'd like to get your own 'tomboy schoogirl' back to be as perverted as you like, you'll get her. You want to try out having a maid to service you, she'll be yours. Feel like having a space babe at your mercy, and you can act it out. Athlete, businesswoman, bunnygirl, teacher, party girl... whatever you like, it'll be yours."

"I'll change into whatever you pick out."
"Or maybe I'll just dress you myself," Ranma suggested.
Akane couldn't help but find herself shivering with pleasure at the thoughts his words brought up.
"Still...."
"What?"
"I don't know how you'll explain the differences. I mean, you're basically the same, but...."
"I'll just tell them that I got a wonderful beauty treatment," she answered. "That should make them happy."
"Good for them. I've gotten something more than just an explanation."
