There was just a moment before what she'd said registered in Ranma's mind. "You have something that will make them think that it was always this way?"
"Something like that. They'll just forget that there ever was an 'Akane Tendo'," Akane admitted.
"But then... everything you have managed to do will be gone."
"That would be the case."
"Don't you get it?" he insisted. "All that you've worked for is going to be forgotten."
"Yes, but you forgot one thing."
"And what's that?"
"I can't do anything with it," she reminded him with a smile. "And there's nothing more that I want to do than to be your doll."
He opened his mouth and seemed like he was trying out what to say. Nothing came out though, and guilt passed over his features. But then his wriggles of discomfort made his chest rub against her breasts, and his attention was happily drawn to her nipples.
"Think about it. Having me have nothing to do but be there for you."
"Well, that would be...."
"Yes?"
Swallowing hard, Ranma tried to imagine what it would be like to have Akane do anything that he wanted. And it really did mean /anything/, since this new version of her was ready and willing to try all that he wanted. From having someone to spar with on a moment's notice, to being able to dress her up how he wanted, to making her act out something from one of his friends' magazines, she would do whatever he thought up. Every little thought he had could be acted out on, and there was no need to worry about taboos. But to think that she would be all that, and have no other expectations from herself and others made him do something a little surprising.
He fell right off of the bed.
It took him a long moment to regain his balance from the jolt of his landing, but as he winced from the pain of his injured backside, he realized how real this was. Anything that he did now would forever change what was already a heavily shifted situation.
So he tried to focus as best that he could, and began to look for a balanced spot to put his hands down. But with a naked Akane leaning over the edge of the bed to look at him in concern, he was a little... distracted. All that he could do was slide his fingers around until he got to touch a small pouch that seemed to be filled with some sort of shifting material.
"What the heck is this?" he asked as he picked it up.
She reached out for it and emptied what looked like a sparkling blue dust onto her palm. "This is what will make people forget that I was ever human."
"That stuff?"
"Yes, this stuff."
"But how could it manage that?"
"I don't know," Akane admitted. "But after all we've seen, do you really need a complete explanation?"
"Good point."
"Still, would you like to use it?"
"Me?" he grunted.
"Exactly. And once you do, I'll only be your doll to play with how you'd like."
Silence weighed heavy over the pair for a long moment as they regarded the glittering sand in her hand before:
