"Thanks, Nabiki... But, well, I'm not so bothered by the curse anymore."

She leaned forward and rested her palm on his forehead. "Hm. Not any warmer than the bath or the sex allows for... You are feeling yourself, aren't you?"

Nabiki was looking at him suspiciously now. "Hold on, really? Are you sure about this?"

Ranma nodded, and began to think about it. What did he want out of life now? He had his girls, he had a threat looming over the horizon that was sure to make life interesting, and he really didn't care about his curse anymore. What else could he possibly want?

Where the hell were they? It didn't make any sense! Here he was, sitting outside the Tendo's from a vantage point, and... nothing. The only person that seemed to be in was Mrs Saotome. He had nothing against her save for her son's sins. Didn't really know her all that well either. He hopped down, and slipped off to the dojo. Something stunk a bit in here, but he couldn't place the smell. Nobody in there, anyway. He was starting to get a little worried now. Shampoo had been acting odd since last night, apparently having suffered through a very strange dream. But there was something else there as well, something only the half blind idiot that knew her all her life could possibly spot. Something he really didn't like the feeling of.

It was a dark room, lit only by a television. One figure stood behind a chair, while the other leaned forward onto steepled hands as he studied the recording with great and considerable interest.

"I thought you'd want to see this, boss. It's the sort of thing that seemed, well, right up your street."

"And so it is," the figure in the chair whistfully said. "You will be well rewarded for this. Most interesting. Beta! Allow our friend the company of any girl in the building he so chooses. In fact, give him two girls. This is really the most interesting discovery I've had given to me quite possibly ever."

The tape was rewound and watched again in slow motion. "Fascinating transformation, is it not? And to lure so many girls with such ease... I must discover his secret!"

"Good. But I just want you to follow his movements for now, Beta. This is a fact finding mission for now."

"I assume you will pay one of these young girls a visit at some point?"
