Lucid Dreaming 1/2: Moving Forward

This had not been a good day, as far as Ranma was concerned. He hadn't meant for things to get this messed up, but... well, things just got messed up around him. Maybe it really was his fault somehow? Whatever the case was, he really didn't like the idea of bringing even more girls into his harem. Twelve seemed like quite enough. He was scared, above all else, that one day he'd walk outside and find himself being followed home by a crowd of girls.

The line had to be drawn somewhere. He had to figure out a way to control it. The girls had all filed out of the hot spring, which was good because he needed the opportunity to meditate a little. As he sat there in the water, letting the warmth wash over his body, he focused on finding his centre. Finding a point of control deep within himself. He would resist the temptation. He was strong of mind as well as body. He was whole and happy with the girls he had...

"Ranma?"

His eyes snapped open, and he saw...Setsuna, wasn't it? She stood there at the entrance, fixing him with a firey determined gaze. In spite of himself, Ranma swallowed nervously and the control he thought he had obtained through meditation slipped through his fingers under the combination of that glass melting leer and her body language which screamed as it spelled out S-E-X.

"Can I... Uh... Can I help you with something?" He asked as he drew himself under the water. She responded by walking towards him, not even bothering to make the effort to cover herself. He was in trouble. Deep trouble. Somehow the water felt even warmer than it had a moment ago...

"So what do you think?" Nabiki asked Belldandy. "Is there a way we can fix it so this blasted rock doesn't go off every damn time someone says the 'w' word?"

Belldandy tapped her finger on her lips, considering the question with great care. "There is a simple solution... Yes, that might work, but my sisters would probably be better off helping me with this."

"Your... sisters?"

"Urd and Skuld. I could probably manage this by myself, but with something as powerful as this rock, I may need a little assistance."

Nabiki handed her the rock, and hoped Belldandy knew what she was doing. Then again, she was a Goddess. Maybe she did...

Keitaro idly played around with the Mercury Computer, intrigued by the technology that lay within. He was also thankful that Suu was willing to let him use her tools and equipment. In no time at all, he'd have the device running more efficiently, and more importantly, he could figure out how to replicate them. Maybe even create a network between the machines. Ami was standing behind him with no small sense of awe. He got the feeling she reserved that particular emotion for people truly deserving, and... well, each of his girls were deserving of it in their way.

He just wished they would put some clothes on. They had all insisted that static might be an issue, but he knew they knew (and he supposed they knew he knew that) there were other methods of dealing with that basic issue, and were just takiing the sexier approach as they worked because they wanted to tease him. Or maybe the magic working on them had made them all more sensual and seductively minded. It was dsitracting, but... well, he was pretty sure he'd have this sorted in no time at all.

Just as soon as he tore his eyes from the set of jiggling breasts in front of him.
