Another weird change had been Brock. It wasn't known why but Brock had choosen to stay at the Gym, not having trusted his father to mind the k1ds alone. Or perhaps it was because Jessie was smaller and showed less skin then Misty. Ether way, Brock just choose to stay behind.
Now, initially, this sounds like it be a fine change, no Brock would allow Jessie to attempt to get closer to Ash. Yet, this didn't happen as, SOME REASON, close to EVERY girl Ash encountered, be them Gym Leader, trainer, or even Jennys and Joys, seemed to follow them for a time before leaving. Misty was the first, staying with them the longest as she stuck with them all threw Johto, but people after that... Sabrina, after Ash defeated her and managed to get Jessie and Misty returned from dolls, stuck around, 'claiming' that she hoped Ash might prove useful in find more ghost and psychic type Pokemon. Erika stuck around to find new smells. Koga's niece followed Ash around, claiming she'd get revenge on Ash for beating Koga (though she never did) and the list just went on. At the highest point, Ash had a harem of 24 girls following him, half of those Jennys and Joys!
This was what ultimately led Jessie to be a tad jealous as she changed them all in ways in the hopes of scaring them all away from Ash, from his own mother to other girls and the mothers of those other girls!
