One of the hardest things in the world is attempting to maintain a dignified and furious march through a park while ones eyes are watery, and - "Achoo!" - and while one was making a fine effort to be the first person to literally sneeze their own head off. Even so, Saito put in a very solid effort. A cat! Of all things, it had to be a cat! She delicately dabbed at her nose with a handkerchief while plotting a revenge the likes of with that boy, that stupid, stupid Eito character would never, ever forget.

Just then, a tingling sensation played along her sinus with all the subtlety of a herd of elephants. She knew this feeling all the much more than she would ever admit to anyone - the sensation of either an upcoming sneeze that would sound at first like gunfire to someone not paying attention, or... a fakeout. She hated that they felt so similar, and that either way her reaction had to be the same. Uncontrollable. Against her will. It was as inevitable as gravity and every bit as irresistable. What was the proper term for it? Reflexive? She took in a series of lightning quick breaths as her eyes closed and her head tilted back, feeling the buildup coming and knowing that if it was a fakeout, she'd just have to make Eito's torment last all that much longer for this humiliation. A torment he couldn't possibly predict, couldn't possibly see coming -

An unfortunate choice of phrase given that she was performing her quick and angry march around a corner while her eyes were closed. She crashed into someone just then, headbutting their chest as the sneeze made good its promised escape. She heard a familar voice tell her to watch where she was going, but the identity of that person went unnoticed by her just then. She had other thoughts on her mind. A brief apology, practised to the point of sincerity even when there wasn't an ounce of caring within her body, and she was off again plotting revenge.

She allowed herself a good sniff as a particularly devious plan fell right into her mind. She wouldn't be able to pull it off by herself... She flipped open her cellphone, peered at the numbers through immensely irritated eyes, and started sending a series of texts. Revenge, like all things, can be considered a form of art in the right mindset. Saito didn't consider herself quite so adept in that department, but she did know someone who was a master at it. By the time she'd gotten back to her house, a scant five minutes later, she had received a reply asking for details. Of course. She would want more information on this Eito character. In an hour or so, she'd head out to meet Miiko Kajiyama, and together they would ensure that Eito remembered and rued this day for the rest of his life.

She was relieved, thankful, grateful, happy enough to be doing cartwheels down the street, and yet if anyone were to look at her, they'd think someone had just told her something terribly tragic. Koken Nomura always had trouble expressing her emotions ot the outside world, in part out of shyness and in part because she really didn't know how best to express herself. Given her emotional state, she really ought to have been skipping off home, cuddling her formerly lost cat, stroking his fur, cooing him, pampering him.

Instead, she was content with holding it. Hugging it close to her chest, though not too tightly lest she hurt it. The cat looked up at her, and gave what sounded to her like a sort of happy meow. The corners of her lips twitched upwards into what could be called as close to a smile as she could manage. They had a way of understanding each other, these two.

"Found him." said a voice that was eerily similar to Koken's. She looked up and away from the cat into the form of her younger sister, who was possessed of similar frame save for the fact that she was taller. That never did seem fair, somehow. Not that she'd ever express an opinion like that. Her voice just didn't seem to ever want to go above a whisper, for whatever reason, and even then, she preferred saying at most two words, of as few syllables as possible. Loudness was scary. She didn't like loud sounds. "Good."

Mayo - her sister - stood in front of her, looking down at the cat with an expression that matched Koken's. After about half a minute of silent staring at the feline, she raised a hand and patted it on the head. Koken let it drop to the floor, whereby it immediately ran indoors, probably looking for food or a warn place to sleep.

The sisters turned their attention to each other, neither saying a word. That was the weird thing about this pair. Even given that they were interested in different things, and even had tremendously different personalities, the only differences that anyone could make out from either of them would have to be related to either their physical appearance or the clothes they typically wore. Where Koken wore rather a boyish look - and would perfectly carry it off if not for her rather impressive chest - Mayo had a preference for girlier dress. Where Koken was fascinated by machines, by engineering, by putting things together and taking them apart, Mayo liked the more athletic pursuits. Maybe that had something to do with why she was so much taller. Koken could only suppose.

Either way they were both very silent and personal about their thoughts and feelings. They didn't express themselves very well, and never really did. Nor did they see much of a need to, only speaking when absolutely necessary. To an outsider, the two of them were simply standing still and staring at each other as if they were involved in a life or death staring contest. In truth they were conversing. In truth, they were communicating in a manner that was not telepathy - that is an important factor to note - but it had all the trappings of it. Just by looking at each other, because they knew the other so well that by looking for prolonged periods they could learn what the other was thinking about.

Mayo was concerned about the swim meet she had to deal with in a few days. She was an excellent swimmer, though it was hardly odd for her to feel like this. She blinked, and noted the nod measured by inches that meant Mayo had understood that her older sister was rooting for her. In turn, Mayo glanced back at the house, just for a moment... ah, she wanted to know where she'd found the cat!

She wasn't quite sure what facial expressions she'd used to give it away, but it seemed like her little sister understood that a boy helped her find their missing cat. An eyebrow raised a nanometer - "Maybe..." Koken said, and blood rushed to her cheeks just as it was to her sister's. The two walked back inside then, and Koken tried to ignore her sister's "friendly advise", as it was just so embarassing for them both. Besides which, she'd hardly fit any of her sister's dresses...
