"Ahhhh. Finally back." Lucy sighed as she returned to a small little home near the edge of Magnolia Town carrying a small sack of stolen goods that she was returning to it's owner. It wasn't an official mission that she got from the board, but was something she got involved when she saw a small group of bandit stealing from the home when she was return to town after a nice walk to clear her head. The owner of the home was a elderly women that was returning home with groceries in hand and when she saw the robbers and the guild mark on Lucy's hand she begged for her to stop them. Lucy was lucky able to catch them and with the help of Taurus that she defeated them group and gather all that they stole.
"Here you go miss." Lucy said as enter and placed the looted item bag down on the floor taking a near seat. The old women hurried to the bag checking the contents to making sure that all the was stolen was returned. With a happy smile she sat down on the chair that was behind her.
"Oh thank you. You returned that things that mean more than life to me." She said smiling with a tears in her eye. The old women opened the bag further revealing the contents. They were thing that didn't seemed very expensive at all, they were snow globes, knick- knack and even a greenish rock.
'These thing were gifts from my husband on his travels as a mage. He died a few years back of some magic diseases that I don't remember the name of it, but it kill him slowly and made him lose his powers. On his final days he smiled and told me the stories of each thing he brought me; the only one he didn't tell me was this one." The old women reached down a grabbed the greenish rock."He wasn't able to tell me this one, but only said that I should give it to a mage I believed should have it and that my darling is why I'm giving it to you." The old women reached out and placed it in Lucy's left hand.
"But, but this was your husbands are you sure?" Lucy asked shocked at what the women was doing giving her something her deceased husband gave her.
"I know. But you remind me of him and I know that he'd want you to have it for helping me." The women smiled reveal white teeth only missing one of her upper right canine. With that Lucy knew that she had to keep the rock if she refused it would be the greatest insult she could ever give.
"Okay thank you." Lucy said as she stood up rock firmly in hand."I returning to Magnolia Town if you ever want to see me come by the Fairy Tail guild." And with that she left the home of the old women waving goodbye as she walked home. After that she turned towards the road before her it was going to take another thirty minutes before she could make it home." Hope there are good jobs on the board I need money for rent." She thought it wasn't like she didn't take a lot of job, but those usually were with Natsu that meant damages and the she spilt in half to give it to him and with that didn't leave with that much.
"With the rock in hand Lucy thought "I just wish..."
