Hinata's evening had been a rather pleasant one. Her father had accepted her new pet into their home and didn't hassle her about Naruto, and Hanabi, though always watching, remained distant. When she awoke the next morning, Ino sleeping peacefully at her bedside, she took a moment to wonder what the new day might bring; especially a new day in which elements of her life were now drastically different.
After preparing for the day, Hinata left home with the intent of going to the day's meeting with the rest of Team 8, with Ino-kitty following her. Stopped at a corner, she paused to scratch her catgirl's ears. Ino had thus far proven to be very friendly and docile. Of course, there was her horniness to contend with as well, but that was just par for the course with Ino's new species.
"Ugh!"
Hinata looked up and saw Anko glaring at Ino with a disgusted look. "You actually keep that freak of nature as a pet?"
"F-freak of nature?" Hinata was stunned. With the introduction of a new species, new perceptions toward these creatures would be evident. But she never thought that Anko of all people would hate them so actively. "She's not a freak. She's very sweet."
"Sweet for what?" Anko asked. "All their good for is humping legs."
Ino didn't seem to be paying attention. Hinata's ear scratching was just too good. She began to purr.
"Seriously, Hinata. Don't adopt those things. They're the worst!"
"I really don't need your advice," Hinata replied. "Ino is perfectly obedient."
"Yeah, sure." Anko rolled her eyes.
Hinata sighed and fingered the remote. It would seem that Anko was in need of a lesson.
