Stephanie frowned as she watched the scene before them. Unfortunately, the only thing that she knew about Inari was that it was also the name of a type of nigiri sushi she liked, which was a tofu pouch stuffed with rice. However, the white-furred kitsune was interesting. Did that mean that she was meant to ride Dustin? A slightly perverted smile crossed her face. She vaguely remembered Benzaiten from one of her old adventures with Bob, but she had no clue what type of powers the goddess had, nor Myoken.
Dustin looked slightly nervous. That fox-girl looked quite a bit like her. Was she supposed to be Stephanie's servant then? She peeked at her now large-bosomed wife, feeling a little melted. She did wish that she could change back to her male form (kitsune were shapeshifters, weren't they?) but she still felt compelled to obey Stephanie. She sighed, waiting for something else to happen.
Alan looked a bit ill. She really hoped that the goddess representatives down there would hurry up and speak. It would be especially useful if they knew how to reverse her transformation into a giant lactating stone statue. The boat did seem to be heading towards the island they were stranded on, so maybe the problem they mentioned was that of the ... potential monsters there?
Bob was torn between worry and elation. On one hand, a magical battle appealed to him. On the other hand, what was going to happen to his wife? He really needed to figure out some way to help... although getting knowledge of Myoken and the other goddesses would be useful, he hoped. And a battle? Would they be all right? Were they all going to become goddess avatars? He shivered. What if they did have to fight those ogres he had seen?
