As Mimi prepared to leave, the lights around the room started to dim. That stopped Mimi's progress as she looked around the room. The lights dimmed more. In a quiet voice, she said "Master Hill?? is that you?" She looked around as the lights when out at the mention of his name.
Suddnely another light filled the room but it was blue and from the center of the room. It was at first a blue glowing ball but slowly took form into an older man. His form was fuzzy, indistinct but she knew it was her Master. "Mimi, I sense your distress. What is wrong.. Are things in danger of going wrong?? " His voice had authority despite his otherworldly status.
Mimi felt releif as she saw her Master.. It wasn't him really but it was enough. "Yes Mr. Hill. Let me explain." With meticulous detail, she explained how she had gotten the six needed for the gala but one had become a lush. She had worried about how that would affect the gala.
