Feeling much better, Akane realized how miserable and out of it she must have been. The park was kilometers from Dr. Tofu's clinic. Well, she was in the home stretch. She was just passing Ukyo's Okonomiyaki.
But on hearing a disturbance from inside, she did not pass. "You're butt ugly!"
"Being from the Red Hot Teahouse Kunoichi, I know butt ugly. I am not butt ugly."
"You're a girl ninja?! Then I'll fight you for My Dear, Dear Ukyo!" Tsubasa Kurenai challenged.
"Don't be a jackass, Tsubasa! You're not a martial artist!" Ukyo yelled.
"I don't have to be when I have this robot suit!"
This Akane had to see. Peeking in the door, she saw the a female-looking head sticking out of a hole in a boxy armor held together with plaited tubing.
"Jackass!! It's made of cardboard!"
It was true. And the gauges, buttons, and seams for compartment doors were painted on. And to let everybody know he was supposed to be a "girl" robot, ribbons and hearts were also painted on as well.
"Remember, I am the Master of Disguise! That is my weapon!" Tsubasa said confidently.
"Whatever," Ukyo said. "Konatsu, get rid of the pest."
"As you wish, Ukyo-sama," the man dressed in a servant's kimono said.
But no sooner had the she-he reached out to judo toss the "femmebot" out, but a cardboard box appeared around each of the other crossdresser's hands! Akane didn't know why she or the others were surprised. How else could Tsubasa so easily come up with his disguises as inanimate and bulky objects but to know the same trick as Mousse's Dark Magic, and Akane's own Hammer Space? Though, come to think of it, it was more like Ranma's dad's Convenient Clothes Closet from which he instantly put something to wear after returning to his human body.
Akane still saw the yarns, strings, and threads pass through the boxes. The one that lead directly to Ukyo was as thick as yarn, and pretty red on Konatsu's end, while thinner and less red on Ukyo's. The thickest and reddest of those ties of Ranma's childhood friend and fiancee were, not surprisingly, for her restaurant and any and every okonomiyaki in sight. What was surprising was her red string to Tsubasa! The girl who dressed who liked to dress as a guy had feelings for the guy who liked to dress up as a girl! More so than for the other guy who desired to dress up as a girl.
