A handsome blond man was running through the woods. A taller white haired man was close behind him.
“Come on Pervy Sage!” Naruto called with some happiness. He hadn’t been this close to home in two and a half years.
Jiraiya said nothing as he followed his apprentice. He just felt the atmosphere change. Something just changed and the world wasn’t what it was.

Sakura and Ino blinked. They turned around and looked at the trees. They looked familiar but the smell was different. They smelled things they couldn’t describe.
“Sakura? Are we home?” Ino asked.
“I think so,” Sakura said when the sound of a breaking branch made them jump and look behind them. Before Ino could react her tentacle arm shot out at the thing that made the noise. Her slimy appendage was met by another one.
Before the 8 foot tall former humans was what could be described as a white and grey dog. That said, this dog is somewhere between 5 and six feet tall. It had six legs. Each leg was muscular and had sharp claws . Along the spine were holes with tentacles spouting out. The tail was a mass of tentacles waging in unison. The head was wolf-like but with a mouth that opened too far to be considered “normal” and had thick sharp teeth. From inside the mouth a long pink tentacle had launched out and grabbed Ino’s “arm”. The creatures eyes were closed. On the crown of the skull was a pulsating brain like Sakura’s.
They weren’t shocked when they heard it speak. What it was saying, though, was shocking.
“Kiba! Kiba! Where are you?” the beast yelled.
“Who are you?” Sakura thought. The beast looked towards Sakura and the large black nose flared open and closed.
“Sakura? You are Sakura! And you are Ino! But you smell wrong!” the beast replied. It retracted its tongue.
“Akamaru?” Ino thought. “Not you too!”
“What happened to you?” Sakura asked.
“I was in Kiba‘s room sleeping when I woke up and no one was around. I tried to get out but couldn‘t. There was no escape. Then food arrived and I ate it. I slept and woke up as this,” the beast Akamaru said. His nose flared and tongue wet his lips. “You smell very alluring.” He lifted his backside up and readied himself to jump.
“No! I don‘t think so!” Sakura yelled when she felt a pulse within her. Her thoughts had a power to them they never had before. Akamaru sat down and lowered his head.
“Sorry,” Akamaru said softly. A soft breeze came to their little clearing. Akamaru turned his head in its direction. Sakura and Ino turned as well.
It smelled familiar. All three knew they knew it before.
“Sakura, I smell ramen,” Ino said with hope.
“Naruto!” Sakura yelled with excitement. She still considered him just a friend but a human friend is just what she needs at the moment. Before Ino and Akamaru could react, she blasted into the woods, knocking over an old tree with no effort at all.
Ino tried to run but her chicken legs couldn’t keep up. Akamaru came to her side. Sighing, she jumped onto the beast’s back and resisted the pleasure she got from the ticking the tentacles was giving her lower regions.

Naruto stopped in his tracks. He was certain something just called out to him. He was certain he knew that feminine voice from his childhood.
“Naruto, what’s wrong?” Jiraiya asked as the off-ness seemed to be getting closer.
“I thought I just heard Sakura. You didn’t hear anything?” Naruto asked, as he looked back. Jiraiya shook his head.
Both then felt the earth shaking as something large and fast approached.
