As the ladies more delicately continued their game, somehow able to handle the ball without destroying their inch-long nails or makeup, the very court began to change beneath them. It didn't seem tied into the point-score, mainly as the effect couldn't be split for the teams.

By the last third of the last quarter, the court had fully changed into...

1. A elegant ballroom, looking rather odd with the floor tastefully resembling a basketball court in its floor patterns and with a ring on both ends. Perhaps the stands next to them would change to reflect this?
2. *A ploughed field, uneven and rough.
3. An ice-rink? Could they even stand on one? Would their high-heels change to match the floor?
4. A tepid swamp. Would the ladies remain high and dry, or would their outfits be quickly spoiled?
5. Something else.
