"What just happened?" Katie asked, leafing through Becky's discarded clothes in search of some sort of answer.
"She's just gone," Tiff said, standing. "Is that what she meant to happen?" Suddenly Tiff felt the dread wash over her. This house was no game. There were repercussions to playing around with the strange science inside this place. "This... this is terrible. This is unimaginable. This is-"
"Awesome!" Becky's voice finished the sentence, although there was no Becky to be found. From the corners of the room appeared little purple orbs of light, each one flaring into existence one after the next. Soon the energy converged in the center of the room and, in a purple flash much like the one that claimed Becky a moment ago, Becky reappeared standing atop her clothes. Nude, her breasts were slightly larger, her body a bit firmer, and her smile just as infectious as always. More of a shock, her formerly brown eyes were now purple, as was her shoulder-length hair (and the small patch of hair she maintained down below).
"Becky!" Tiff yelped, lunging forward and grabbing the girl in a full body hug.
"Easy, catgirl," Becky replied, being held tight.
"What just happened?" Katie asked, pulling Tiff off of Becky. "We thought you'd died!"
"I ascended," Becky said proudly. "I've become pure energy, or pure thought, or pure consciousness, or whatever." She looked down at her naked body and smiled, saying to herself softly, "Nice."
"Pure energy?" Katie asked.
"I've achieved universal knowledge," Becky went on. "It's amazing! I can understand everything now. I can see the way the universe is put together. I can see your pasts and your futures!" She leaned close to Tiff's ear and whispered, causing the catgirl's eyes to go wide. "I won't tell," Becky promised, having told Tiffany that she knew the catgirl had more of an eye for girls than boys. Looking down at her clothes, she waved her hands and caused the garments to disintegrate into a cloud of dust. "Won't be needing those anymore!"
Katie spoke up, "But-"
"Not a problem," Becky replied, already knowing the question. "I'm not sticking around here, no way. I'm off to see the universe! Why limit myself to just one planet, right?"
Tiff said, "But how-"
"I'm energy and thought now. I exist wherever I want. I just have to think it and -BAM!- I'll be flying through the stars."
Katie said, "So you're just gonna-" and Becky cut her short again, but Katie went on with "Let me talk! Jeez! So you're just gonna go, just like that? People will miss you."
"I've got it under control," Becky replied, not elaborating. "Look, I should get going. I've waited a lifetime for this." A pause as she looked intently at the girls, then "Wait a minute... you were looking for a cure for your changes when you found me."
"We'd only just started," Tiff said, her eyes glued to Becky's nude body this whole time. Don't think Becky didn't notice. So did Katie, really.
"Let me help," Becky said. "It's the least I can do before I go. I mean, you did help me keep myself together until I ascended. C'mere," she said, holding out her hand. Neither other girl moved. "Don't be shy." Katie stepped forward tentatively, and Becky placed her hand on the girl's furry tummy. Katie felt a tingling and gasped as her fox features began to recede, her fully human physiology asserting itself. Her tail retracted back into her tailbone, fur melting away to reveal soft skin, and - sadly - her enhanced bust shrinking back into the flat chest that had earned her the nickname of "No-cans". Once the changes were done, Becky withdrew her hand. Katie staggered back a step in a slight daze and Tiff helped steady her.
"Whew," Katie gasped. "I'm ok, I'm ok. Thanks!" Then, realizing she was now a nude human girl and not a nude foxgirl, she let out an embarrassed "Eep!" and covered herself with her hands as best she could.
"I've seen you naked before," Tiff pointed out. Those were happy memories.
"And I can see everything," Becky added.
"I just feel so... exposed!"
"I can help with that," Becky said, and with a wave of her hand, Katie found her clothes forming around her body starting with panties, then bra, then shirt and skirt. Socks and shoes finished the look along with her discarded jewelry.
"Your turn, kitty," Becky said, turning to Tiffany. She held out her hand and asked "Ready?"
"This just feels so right," Tiff said, "Being like this. I hate to give it up."
"You know you can't stay like that," Katie said. "We have school! We're graduating next month! And you have families and friends who know you as a girl, not a cat."
"I know," Tiff replied. "I just hate to give it up without really being able to enjoy myself first."

"Normal," Tiff replied somewhat sadly.
"After today, normal is good." She let go of Tiff and turned towards the door. "We should go. Are you ready? I've had enough adventure for one day."
"You still up for me coming over for the weekend?"
"With my folks away for the long weekend? Of course! We can talk about what we're going to say if anyone asks what happened to Becky." Both girls looked out the window and up into the sky.
"I hope she's OK out there and that she finds whatever she's looking for."
