And here was my actual, crazy idea.
Substitute out the original suitors, tag in all of the official Disney Princesses.
Now this I can believe he'd do, as I really wouldn't call this improving Ranma's life. At all, really. Just making it more complicated.
However, Ryoga's wording is such that the ring might make it that Ranma fell in love with them consecutively rather than concurrently.
That was actually my original intention, but then I hadn't realized I could magic it into concurrency.
Either way, whatever floats your boat, if you're interested. Speaking of which, are you?
Hey Adama, could you change this:
During each of these adventures he met, and fell in love with a girl, who also fell in love with him.
To this:
During which, he met the following girls and fell in love with all of them, while they also fell in love with him.
Fixed.
Oh, I never caught your earlier reply. I just assumed you meant concurrently since that's much more complicated than if Ranma simply had an adventure with one princess and then moved on both geographically and emotionally to the next. And Ranma just isn’t Ranma without complications.
I am indeed interested, but mostly as a reader. That’s because I can’t say I’m terribly confident in my ability to write for any of the princesses. Well, maybe Tiana, but that’s about it.
Notably, Disney is now marketing Merida from Pixar’s Brave as part of the Disney Princesses. (Usually absent from that marketing? Jasmine, Mulan and Pocahontas.)
I just went with the list from the Disney Wiki.
I've been working on another episode, it's a bit slower work than these ones that I just did in a few minutes. Having a bit of a hard time figuring out exactly what to do.
Sorry, I wasn't trying to say you were wrong to include those three. I was actually criticizing Disney for generally ignoring three of their four non-white heroines. And even when they use Tiana, it seems like more a case of tokenism than anything else.
