“You see, I knew you wouldn't believe me unless I made it so you could see through people's tricks.” Akane said, all the while on the verge of squealing with happiness. She had no idea where she had gotten this wand, or how she had suddenly known exactly how to use it, and what she wanted to do with it the very moment she first saw her sister, but things had still worked out absolutely perfectly for her! She knew, the same way she knew how to use the wand, that you couldn't use it on yourself, but with Nabiki in this state she didn't need to, she just needed to tell Nabiki exactly what to do and she could become whatever she wanted to be!
“What wouldn't I believe?” Nabiki asked curiously, her voice as even as it had always been.
“Oh, uh...” Akane paused, shit, how hadn't she figured this out yet? Too busy congratulating herself, probably.
“That... I've already been cursed. I used to be the Princess of Japan, and now I need you to use the wand on me and say: 'Princess of Japan', to turn me back to normal.” Akane said, it seemed like a good enough way to milk the situation, even if she could probably come up with something better.
“Wait... shouldn't I say something like... peasant girl? Since the wand does things backwards?” Nabiki asked.
“No no no.” Akane said, “The wand does things backwards once, then it does things forward, then backwards again. That's how it works.”
“Oh, I see.” Nabiki said, looking at the wand. She supposed that made sense, somehow?
With that, Nabiki shrugged and raised the wand to Akane before saying, “Princess of Japan.”
In an instance, the wand reappeared in Akane's hand and...
